José Antonio Corona Gómez from LANGEBIO-CINVESTAV visits CIPF within the DEANN Project for a period of over a month. The aim of this visit is to learn to implement bioinformatic tools for the assembly and annotated genomes and metagenomes. His specific objectives are: Automated pipeline for genome sequencing and assembly, struactutal annotation of genomes and functional annotation of genomes and metagenomes.
Alejandro Cárdenas from INMEGEN visits CIPF for a period of two months as Early Stage Researcher within the DEANN project. Alejandro will learn and get experience in the analysis, processing and data integration from new generation data sequencing platforms. He will learn and use algorithims focus on RNA-SEQ integration and epigenomic platforms with the idea to adjust the probabilistic graphic model, keypoint in his thesis.
Lorena de la Fuente from CIPF visits The University of Florida within the DEANN Project for a period of three months. César Cárdenas is giving today a seminar titled: "Assessing the utility of Anctartic sponges for studying global climate change: individual to community level responses". The seminar is taking place at 14:30 in Tranngrisner, Uppsala, Sweden Dr. César Cárdenas is visiting SLU on the frame of the EU FP7 project DEANN.
