International Course of Microarray Data Analysis

A five day theoretical and practical course on microarray data analysis. Organized by the Bioinformatics and Genomics Department of the Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF) in Valencia and the Functional Genomics Node of the Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (INB).

The course is oriented to experimentalists, end-users and PhD students who want to learn about the state-of-the-art of data analysis methodologies in this fast developing area. Students will acquire the necessary skills for analyzing their own data using one of the most advanced software packages, the GEPAS. Lectures and hands-on sessions are taught in the facilities of the CIPF, which provide the ideal environment for the organization of bioinformatic courses.

Social activities are organised during the course to favour networking and exchange of experiences among the students, as well as to promote a fruitful dialog between teachers and students. The week after the course is Fallas, one of the most popular folk festivals in Spain, so a festive atmosphere can be enjoyed in the city.
